The Future of Work for Boys and Men: Education, Skills, and Opportunity

Many boys are not thriving in STEM and CTE courses and programs, with data showing long-standing declines in academic engagement, High School retention, and advanced career development.

Join Dr. Richard V. Reeves and Dr. Patrick Dail for the first of three webinars on the troubling trends for boys and men in education and careers. Following his presentation, Dr. Reeeves will be joined by Dr. Patrick Dail to answer your questions and learn what educators and school leaders can do to better support their academic and professional success. The session will be research-based insights and practical strategies for today’s CTE and STEM classrooms.

PA educators can use this webinar as the launch of ten hours of ACT 48 professional development credits. Sign up for the webinar (and for the virtual ten credit program if interested) hosted via Zoom on January 19th.

This event is funded in part by the Bureau of Career and Technical Education, Pennsylvania Department of Education and the STEM Educator Initiative.

We will also address the questions you submit when you register.
